Our paper was established in 1994; voluntary energy has always been its driving force. This energy is offered by over 100 people every month in production, delivery and behind the scenes organisation and distribution of 13,000 issues, on 11 months of every year. To date well over three million papers have been circulated.

We aim to provide the people of Boronia and The Basin an effective medium of communication, information and expression, and to promote community identity, cooperation and pride.  Our paper has both general interest and public interest journalism.  It contains advertising for many local businesses, as well as for Local, State and Federal Governments.
