Mr Normal
It started in a colourful town called Colourville.
Everyone was colourful, happy, and what some people call “Weird.” In this town there was a little boy named Colour Caleb, or just Caleb.
One day, a person moved next to Caleb, his name was Norman Normal. On the first day Norman Normal painted his house black and grey. On the second day Norman Normal
painted his fence black and grey. On the third day he painted his grass black and grey. Norman Normal only wore grey shirts and grey pants. One day, Caleb knocked on Norman Normal’s door, “Hello?” Norman Normal said normally. “Hi, I’m Caleb. I’m your next doorneighbor, I made you some cookies,” Caleb said excitedly while handing Norman Normal a colourful
cookie box. Norman Normal grabbed the box of cookies and headed inside his house without another word. Norman Normal made sure to paint the cookie box grey before opening it.
When Norman Normal finally opened the cookie box, he found a dozen cookies all in bright colours. Norman Normal picked up the box, went outside and handed the box
back to Caleb. Before Norman Normal went back inside he realized that where Caleb walked it turned colourful again. Norman Normal picked Caleb up and put him on the foot
path. Norman Normal picked up a paint brush and painted the grass black and grey again. “Mr. Normal? Did you not like my cookies?” Caleb asked, walking back to Norman.
“No, I didn’t. AND GET OFF MY LAWN!” Norman said angrily. “DDid you try the cookies?” Caleb said on the brink of tears, Norman looked at Caleb.
“Okay, hand one here.” Norman said grudgingly. Calebs eyes brightened as he opened the now grey cookie box and handed a cookie to Norman Normal. He closed his eyes and plugged his nose
as he took a bite of the cookie. Norman couldn’t believe it, it was amazing, one of the best things he had ever tasted.
After a moment, he decided. It was time for change.
Norman went into his backyard and came back with two paintbrushes and two buckets of paint. But the paint wasn’t grey, it was very colourful. Norman and Caleb started painting, and
